The Hoop Bus is a nonprofit dedicated to spreading love and uniting community through basketball. A non-profit on wheels doing real deal community alchemy all around the United States and now on an international level. Always bringing the game where it is needed most. My role within this beautiful organization is dynamic and Team Hoopbus is my family.
HOOPBUS - show indy love (2024)
As Lead Producer of the Hoop Bus Show Love initiative, I had the privilege of co-producing the Hoopbus’ flagship activation alongside the NBA All-Star Weekend, bringing love, community, and basketball alchemy to every corner of Indiana.
We came in with a mission: double the impact. So, we rolled in with two buses, two court renovations, and two community block events—feeding over 2,000 souls and giving away 400+ pairs of shoes and 250 backpacks to those in need. Five school pep rallies. Five youth clinics. Five NBA & WNBA stars.
From legendary basketball landmarks like Hoosier Gym and John Wooden’s high school to the World Peace Court at Northwest High School, A 100-year-old gym at Woodruff Place Baptist Church was reborn, bringing in more than 1,500 people over four days of programming.
