POINT LAWI

On a beautiful summer morning I was on way to a sunrise birthday surf in Malibu when my board flew out of the truck and onto the highway. Moments later, it was destroyed by oncoming traffic. I quickly hopped out of the truck to scoop up the remains and accepted my fate as the kook of the day. Later on that morning I also decided to transform the mangled board into something new…

Fast forward a few weeks and we had successfully transformed it into a fully functional basketball hoop with the bottom half of the surfboard serving as a built in rebounder. They deemed it fitting to install the hoop at the exact spot I was intending to surf that day. 

The morale to the story : It’s not what you look at, it’s what you see. Where you find challenges and obstacles in life is exactly where you will also find opportunity and possibility, if you choose to. 

If you change your perspective, you might just change your mind. And if you change your mind, you might just change your life…
