Elevate Indianapolis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to redefining economic mobility for urban youth in Indianapolis through holistic mentoring and lifelong relationships. At the core of Elevate's mission is the creation of trusting relationships between students and teacher-mentors who encourage, guide, and advocate for them 24/7. This support addresses the whole student, fostering personal growth and development.

Last spring and summer — I had the privilege of partnering with this incredibly impactful organization — using basketball as a transformative tool for holistic growth, focusing on development both on and off the court.
